Climbing Your Family Tree with Laura Lee- Everyone has a story to tell! Let Laura Lee, genealogy expert help you get on the right path. Start climbing your family tree, through a search platform that will help you learn how to create a strong root system and add branches and leaves, as your research uncovers new information. You will learn how to use a free genealogy search tool, walk away with a basic family tree and ancestry map. Advance Registration is required, as there is a 10-family limit for this free session. Upon registration each family will receive an email packet of papers to get started on in advance to make the most of this session. Register here

Road Trip: SUNY Oneonta, Otsego County and Beyond! - Join award-winning Upstate New York author, newspaper columnist, and radio broadcaster "Big Chuck" D'Imperio for a special presentation during Family Weekend. D'Imperio is the author of ten best-selling travel guides focusing on all aspects of the Upstate New York region. He will encourage students and parents to use their upcoming visits to SUNY Oneonta to explore one of the most beautiful and historic regions of the Empire State. D'Imperio will touch on sights to see, experiences to enjoy, and places (big and small) to visit. His talks are always fun and exciting and you are guaranteed to enjoy this "peek" into a region we hope you will visit often over the next few years.
