The A.J. Read Science Discovery Center is back! We've emerged from the pandemic with some cool new exhibits, including our new living wall, remote-control Mars Rover, singing bowls, an augmented reality sandbox! Come check out what's new at the A.J. Read Science Discovery Center Friday and Saturday! Fun for all ages.

Open swim-The G. Hal Chase Gymnasium Pool is a six-lane pool and home to the swimming & Diving teams while also serving the campus community for recreational swimming and physical education classes. Please feel free to use the pool during open swim hours.

Climbing Your Family Tree with Laura Lee-
Everyone has a story to tell! Let Laura Lee, genealogy expert help you get on the right path. Start climbing your family tree, through a search platform that will help you learn how to create a strong root system and add branches and leaves, as your research uncovers new information. You will learn how to use a free genealogy search tool, walk away with a basic family tree and ancestry map. Advance Registration is required, as there is a 10-family limit for this free session. Upon registration each family will receive an email packet of papers to get started on in advance to make the most of this session. Register here

Open House- The Center for Racial Justice and Inclusive Excellence allows students from all backgrounds to collaborate, for the purpose of formulating forward-thinking initiatives that promote diversity and inclusivity on-and-off campus.

Road Trip: SUNY Oneonta, Otsego County and Beyond! - Join award-winning Upstate New York author, newspaper columnist, and radio broadcaster "Big Chuck" D'Imperio for a special presentation during Family Weekend. D'Imperio is the author of ten best-selling travel guides focusing on all aspects of the Upstate New York region. He will encourage students and parents to use their upcoming visits to SUNY Oneonta to explore one of the most beautiful and historic regions of the Empire State. D'Imperio will touch on sights to see, experiences to enjoy, and places (big and small) to visit. His talks are always fun and exciting and you are guaranteed to enjoy this "peek" into a region we hope you will visit often over the next few years.

12th Annual Family Weekend Wii Bowling Tournament- Join families in the annual tourney for bragging rights and a set of SUNY Oneonta sweatshirts for the winning family! Entry fee is $20.00 per family (up to 4 players per team), and limited to the first 16 teams who register online. 4 sweatshirts max ($200 value) to the winning family.
