Here you can find information about student course surveys, grade analysis, and FARS. Please read through the information carefully and follow the instructions in each section of this page to request the data you need.
When requesting your grade analyses please use the link below and allow up to two weeks for the data to be returned to you:
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT IT CAN TAKE UP TO TWO WEEKS TO RETURN ANY DATA. SUBMIT YOUR REQUESTS IN A TIMELY FASHION TO ALLOW PROPER RETRIEVAL, RETURN, AND REVIEW OF THE DATA.
SUNY Oneonta is implementing a new course survey tool that was built in-house by our IT team. With this transition, we have shifted from the term “SPI forms” and/or "course evaluations" and adopted the phrase “student course surveys”.
This new system allows faculty to access the student course surveys through the link on MyOneonta in the Faculty/Staff Links area or the link below:
Student Course Surveys
In the new system faculty will have the choice to open their surveys during an early optional period (e.g. to administer surveys during the last class of the semester) or let the system automatically open them on a set date. All surveys will automatically close before finals start each semester. When the student course surveys are made available, both you and your students will receive an email with the link to the survey. You will also receive an email when the student course surveys are closed and when the results are made available.

Faculty must identify what semesters they would like grade analyses for in their requests for this data when submitting a Faculty Data Request ticket.
Terms in 2019 or forward:
Individual grade and comparative grade analysis is available upon request
- Comparative data is available at the university and department level
- The comparative analysis is always included with the individual grade analysis
The FARS (Faculty Activity Reports) are processed after the last day to withdraw in the spring semester for that academic year. An email will be sent from Caitlin.Hornbeck@oneonta.edu notifying the administrative assistants for each department that they are ready.
